Remove the TouchPad button board:
1.
Turn the top cover upside down with the front toward you.
2.
Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the TouchPad cable is attached, and then disconnect the
TouchPad cable (2) from the TouchPad board.
3.
Remove the two Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screws (2) that secure the TouchPad button board to the
top cover.
4.
Detach the TouchPad button board cable (1) from the top cover. (The TouchPad button board
cable is attached to the top cover with double-sided adhesive.)
5.
Remove the TouchPad button board (2) and cable.
Reverse this procedure to install the TouchPad button board.
