Introduction

Accu-Chek Compact is a completely new type of blood glucose
monitor for people with diabetes who test their own blood
glucose regularly. We have designed it to be as easy and safe
to use as possible. You will quickly discover that Accu-Chek
Compact is a reliable blood glucose monitor that you can take
anywhere.
Operating Accu-Chek Compact is easy: there is just one button
to press. You no longer have to handle individual test strips,
as they now come conveniently loaded in a drum. Each drum
holds 17 strips and two simple steps are all it takes to insert
the drum into the monitor. Coding occurs automatically.
When you want to take a blood glucose reading, just press the
button and a test strip moves from the drum into the correct
position. Once you have completed the test, just press the
button again and the strip is ejected automatically. Your results
are stored in memory and can be transferred to your computer
if you wish.
