Cause
• A test error has occurred.
• There is electromagnetic
interference.
• You forcibly removed the
test strip during testing.
• You bent the strip while
applying blood or
during measurement.
• The optical system cover
may not be closed properly.
The test strip is stuck in
the guide.
Action
• Repeat the test.
• Move away from possible sources
of interference (see Chapter 5.3
"Testing conditions").
• Repeat the test with a new strip, this time
ejecting it by means of the ON/OFF button.
• Repeat the test with a new strip.
• Ensure that the optical system cover is firmly in
place.
Pull the strip out of the meter. Carefully open the
drum compartment and remove the drum without
turning it. Re-insert the drum. Close the drum
compartment. Keep the "use-by" period in mind
when reusing the drum.
