When elements in the display are surrounded by a halo, it indicates that
they are flashing in the meter's display.

Meaning:
This is the unit in which your blood
glucose results are displayed.
or
The beep tone (On 1) or Acoustic Mode
(On 2) is turned on.
You may apply blood or control solution
to the test strip now.
The test is in progress.

Symbol...
Meaning:
mem signifies that the result being
displayed is a result from memory.
The average blood glucose result for
the last 7, 14 or 30 days is displayed.
It was calculated using (for example)
24, 43 and 70 blood glucose results,
respectively.

No results have been saved.
The meter cannot calculate the aver-
age of the last 7, 14 or 30 days,

as memory only contains results
that are not used in the calcula-
tion, e.g. quality control results,

as you have not entered the date
and time,
