Press the S button to save the chosen setting.

3.2 Setting the year

The year that is currently set flashes at top right of the display.
Press the M button repeatedly until the correct year is displayed.
Each push will advance one year.

If you hold the M button down, the meter fast-scrolls forward to the pro-
duction year +32, and then starts again with the year of manufacture.
Press the S button to save the chosen setting.
Next is the time/date format setting.
The chosen year will not be displayed during measurement, nor
i
when the test result appears, nor during review of the saved re-
sults. Having the correct year entered is still important, however,
th
as February 29 in a leap year will only be recognized when the
year is properly set. The correct year setting is also needed to
identify your blood glucose test results when you download them
from the meter's memory to a computer.
