SIM module

NOTE:
This section applies only to computer models with WWAN capability.
NOTE:
If there is a SIM module inserted in the SIM module slot, it should be removed before
disassembling the computer. Be sure the SIM module is reinserted in the SIM module slot after reassembling
the computer.
Before removing the SIM module, follow these steps:
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the

computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.

Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and

then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
Remove the battery (see

Remove the SIM module:
Press in on the SIM module (1). (The module is partially ejected from the SIM module slot.)

Remove the SIM module (2) from the SIM module slot.

Reverse this procedure to install the SIM module.
