When prompted to enter your name and password, select the Guest radio button.

Click the Connect button.
A list of connected devices displays. This list includes the name admin if you log in as
admin.

From the Apple menu, select System Preferences.

Open Time Machine.

Click the Select Disk button and select your USB drive from the list.

Click the Use for Backup button.
Note:
If you do not see the USB partition that you want in the Time Machine
disk list, go to Finder and click that USB partition. Then it displays in
the Time Machine list.

When prompted to enter your name and password, select the Guest radio button.
14.
Click the Connect button.
When the setup is complete, the Mac automatically schedules a full backup. You can back up
immediately if you want.

Control Access to the USB Drive

You can specify the device name, workgroups, and network folders for your USB device.
From your own network, you can access the USB drive over HTTP and, if you enable it, over
FTP. You cannot access the USB drive over HTTP or FTP from outside your network.
To specify the USB access settings:
1.
On your computer, launch an Internet browser such as Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft
Internet Explorer.
2.
In the address field of your browser, enter www.mywifiext.net.
You are prompted to enter a user name and password.
3.
Type admin for the user name and type your password.
If you have not yet personalized your password, type password for the password.
