Fan Tests
9001h If the fan is already running, you will not hear a
change. Check the fan connection. Check
thermal contact between heatsink and CPU.
Replace the heatsink. Replace the
motherboard.
9002h Reset the computer. Replace the motherboard.
USB Port Test
9006h Make sure a USB device is connected to the
port you are testing. Select the correct speed
for the device. Try another USB device.
Replace the motherboard (or dock component,
if applicable).
IR Tests (FIR enabled, undocked)

9007h – Reset the computer. Run BIOS Setup and
