Use only identical Oregon and Bar replacement components. Maintain labels and nameplates on the tool. These carry important safety information. If unreadable or missing, contact Harbor Freight Tools for a replacement. Avoid unintentional starting. Prepare to begin work before turning on the tool.

The flanges of the Guide Bar groove should always be parallel to each other. To check the Guide Bar: Chain Ruler Figure 13 - Normal Guide Bar Place a ruler along the surface of the Guide Bar and Saw Chain. If there is a gap, the bar is normal.
