  • Page 2 Because the handset interfaces directly with the Skype™ application on your PC, you will need to have Skype™ and the Logitech® Cordless Internet Handset software running on your PC for the handset to function properly. As your PC will need to be turned on, the phone will not work in the case of a power outage, nor is it intended to replace a standard landline in the case of an emergency.

    Environment and Safety Safety Information This handset is not designed for making emergency telephone calls: it will not function when the power fails! You should secure an alternative phone for emergency calls. Power Requirements The computer will provide power to the USB Base Station through the USB connection. Battery Requirements The handset requires a power source of two rechargeable NiMH batteries, size AAA 1.2V 750mAh (HR11/45) (provided).

If however, you would like to manually adjust or verify these settings, please follow these steps. For Windows 000 user: 1. Press Skype™ KEY or UP to launch the contact list during standby. • Contact List The contact list shows the Skype™ contact list of the users who are currently logged in to Skype™ on the PC.     Redial a number Your phone records the last 10 contacts or numbers you have dialed. The most recent call is stored at the top of the list.     Using your phonebook You can use your phonebook to manage your phone entries for SkypeOut™ calling. The information in your phonebook is stored in your handset. If you have more than one handset, each handset has its own phone- book. Your phonebook can store 100 records.
