Be sure all controls are off and all surfaces are cool before cleaning any part of the range.
If your range is removed for cleaning, servicing or any reason, be sure the anti-tip
device is
reengaged properly
when the range is
replaced.
Failure to take this
precaution
could result in
tipping
of the range and cause
injury.
How to Remove Packaging Tape
To assure no danlage is done to tile finish
of tile product, tile satest way to ren/ove
tile adhesive left fl'oin l)ackaging tape on
new ai)pliances is an application of a
househIIld liquid dishwashing detergent,
nfineral oil or cooking oil.
Apply Mth a soft clofl/and alh)w to soak.
Vqpe dry and then apply an appliance
polish to thin'oughly clean and protect
tile surti_ce.
NOTE: Theplastic tape must be removed from all
chrome tn?n.It cannot be removedif it is baked on.

Control Knobs
Thecontrol knobs may be removed for easier
cleaning.
To renlove a knob, pull it straight
off tile steni. If a knob is difficult to
renlove, place a towel or dishcloth
between
tile knob and control
panel
and pull gently: X*\'ash tile knobs in soap
and water or a vinegar and hot water
sohition.

in the OFFposition. When rei)lacing the
knobs, check the OFF position to ensure

Do not bend knobs by pulling thenI
up or down or by hanging a towel or
other such loads. This can danlage
the shaft.

Painted Surfaces
