Burner Grates

On some models, tile grates are
position-specific. For maxim um stabilit,;
these grates should only be used in
their proper position; they cannot be
interchanged left to right or fl'ont to back.
For convenience, the tmdexsides of the
lelt and right grates are marked "I,EFT
FRONT" and "RIGHT FRONT."

Do not operate a burner t0r an extended
period of time without cookware on tile
grate. Tile finish on tile grate may chip
without cookware to absorb tile heat.
To get rid of burned-on toed, place tile
grates in a covered containex: Add l/4 cup
ammonia and let them soak several hom_
or overnight. X_'ash, rinse well and (h_'.
_Mthough they are durable, tile grates
will gradually lose their shine, regardless
of tile best care you can give them. This is
due to their continual exposure to high
temperatures. _m will notice this sooner
with lighter color grates,

Cooktop Surface
To avoid damaging tile porcelain enamel

away D)ods with a lot of acid (tomatoes,

high sugar content could cause a dull spot

etc., wash with soap and water once tile
surfi_ce has cooled. Then rinse and polish

Stainless Steel Surfaces (onsome models)

the surface.
To clean tile stainless steel surlhce,
use warm sudsy water or a stainless steel

in the direction of the grain, Follow the
cleaner instructions fi)r cleaning tile
stainless steel sml'hce.
