Self-cleaning gas ranges

Careand cleaning of the range,
genera
Be sure electrical
power is off and all surfaces
are cool before cleaning any part of the range.
If your range is removed for cleaning, servicing
or any reason, be sure the
anti-tip
device
is
re-engaged properly
when the range is
replaced.
Failure to take this
precaution
could
result in
tipping
of the range and cause
injury.

Turn all controls
OFF bHore
removing
the burner
})arts and drip pans (if so
equipped).
The burner
grates, cai)s, burner
heads and
drip pans (if so equipped)
can be lifted oil
making
them
easy to clean.

is
exposed

the burner
head is

or clean

any burner

is on. An electric
shock may
result, which

over hot cookware.
Drip Pans Ofso equipped)
Remoxe
the grates and lift out the drip
pans. Drip pans can be cleaned
in a
dishwasher
or by hand.

the drip pans, make sure
they are in the correct
position.
To get rid of burne(bon
fi)od, place them
in a covered
container
(or plastic bag)
with 1/4 cup ammonia
to loosen
the soil.
Then
scrub with a soap-filled
scouring
pad
if necessa_ y.
