Place the oven shelf in the desired position while
the oven is cool. If shelves nmst be handled when

elements.
When using cooking or roasting bags in the oven,

Pulling out the shelf to the stop-lock is a
convenience in lifting heaw fbods. It is also a
precaution against burns flon/touching
hot
surfilces of the door or oven walls.
Do not use the oven to diy newspapeis.
If overheated, they can catch oil fire.
Do not use the oven fbr a stoiage area. Items
stored in an oven can ignite.
Do not leave paper products, cooking utensils or
food in the oven when not in use.
Do not use ahmlinunl foil to line oven bottoms,
except as suggested in this nlanual, hnproper
installation of alunlinunl foil may resuh in a
risk of electric shock or fire.

The puipose of the waiming di,'awer is to hold
hot cooked fbods at seix'ing tempeiamre.

Do not leave paper products, plastics, canned
fbod, or conlbustible materials in the diawer

REMEMBER: The inside suIfilce of the di'awer
n/ay be hot when the diawer is opened.
Use care when opening the di'awer. Open the
diawer a ci'ack and let hot air or steam escape
befiore reinoxhlg or replacing fbod. Hot air or
steam which escapes can cause bums to hands,
filce and/or
eyes.
Do not use alunlinunl fbil m line the wam/ing
diawer Foil is an excellent heat insulator and
will tiap heat beneath it. This will upset the
perfbmlance
of the drawer and it could
damage the interior finish.
SELF-CLEANING
OVEN
Do not useoven cleaners.No commercial oven cleaneror oven liner protective coating of anykind shouldbe
usedin or around anypart of the oven.Residuefrom oven cleaners will damagethe insideof the oven when the
self-clean cycle is used,
Do not clean the door gasket. The door gasket is
essential flora good seal. Care should be taken
not m rub, damage or nlove the gasket.
Befbre self cleaning the oven, renlove the broiler
pan, grid and other cookware.
Shin> sih'e>colored oven shelves (oil some
Inodels) should be relnoved ffonl the oven
befbre beginning the selfklean cycle.
Gi,'ayporcelain-coated
oven shelves (oil some
models) inay be cleaned in the oven during
the self clean cycle.
Be sure to wipe off excess spillage befbre starting
the self cleaning opei'ation.
If the selfk'leaning mode malflmctions, tuiil the
oven off and disconnect the power suppl}: Have
it serviced by a qualified technician.
