IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING.
COOK MEAT AND POULTRY THOROUGHLY...
Cook meat and poultry thoroughly-meat
to at least an INTERNAL temperature of l 60°F and poultry
to at least an INTERNAL temperature of l80°K Cooking to these temperatures usually protects against
foodbome illness.
OVEN
Stand away from the range when opening the door of a hot oven. The hot air and steam that escape
can cause burns to hands, face and eyes.
Do not use the oven for o storage area. Items
stored in the oven con ignite.
Keep the oven free from grease buildup.
Place the oven rocks in the desired position
while the oven is cool.
Pulling out the rock to the stop-lock is o
convenience in lifting heavy foods. It is also u
precuution ugoinst burns from touching hot
surfuces of the door or oven walls. The lowest
position is not designed to slide.
Do not heat unopened food containers.
Pressure could build up and the container could
burst, causing on injury.
WARNING: .EVER cover any
s lots,
holes or possuges in the oven bottom or cover
on entire rock with materials such us uluminum
foil. Doing so blocks air flow through the oven
and muy cuuse curbon monoxide poisoning.
Aluminum foil linings may also trap heat,
causing o fire hazard.
Do not use aluminum foil anywhere in the oven
except as described in this manual. Misuse
could result in o fire hazard or damage to the
range.
When using cooking or roosting bogs in the
oven, follow the manufacturer's
directions.
Do not use your oven to dry newspapers. If
overheated, they con catch fire.
Use only gloss cookwore that is recommended
for use in gas ovens.
Always remove any broiler pan from range
as soon as you finish broiling. Grease left in
the pan con catch fire if oven is used without
removing the grease from the broiler pan.
When broiling, if meat is too close to the flume,
the fat may ignite. Trim excess fat to prevent
excessive flare-ups.
Make sure any broiler pan is in place correctly
to reduce the possibility of grease fires.
If you should hove o grease fire in o broiler pan,
touch the Cleer/Off pod, and keep the oven
door closed to contain fire until it burns out.
For safety and proper cooking performance,
always bake and broil with the oven door
closed.
