About the ice and water dispenser.
On some models

Spill S helf
To Use the Dispenser
Select CUBED ICE _,
CRUSHEDICE
or WATER_.
Press tile glass gently against
tile top ot
tile dispenser
cradle.
The spill shelf is not selCdraining.
To
reduce
water spotting,
the shelf and its
grille should
be cleaned
regularl>
If no water is dispensed when the refrigerator
is first installed, there may be air in the water
line system. Press the dispenser arm for at least
two minutes to remove trapped air from the water
line and to fill the water system. Toflush out
impurities in the water line, throw away the first
six glassfub of water
CAUTION: Never put fingers or any other
objects into the ice crusher discharge opening.
Locking the Dispenser(onsomemodels)
Press the LOCK
CONTROLpad fi,r
3 seconds
to lock tile
dispenser
and control
LOCK CONTROL
panel.
To mflock, press
HOLD3SECS
and hold tile pad again
fi)r 3 seconds.
Dispenser Light
This pad turns tile
dispenser
on and off.
The light also comes
LIGHT
on when tile disl)enser
cradle is pressed.
If this
light bm'ns out, it
should
be replaced
xdth a 6 watt ma_mum,
12 xolt DC bulb.

Ice Storage Drawer
on Dispenser Models
Toremove:
Set tile icemaker
power switch to tile
0 (off)position.
Pull tile drawer straight
Otlt and then lilt past tile stop position.
Toreplace:
\_l/en
replacing
tile (h'awe_; make sure
to push it firefly into place. If it does not
go all the way back, remove
it and rotate
tile drive mechanism
1/4 turn. Then
push
the drawer back again.
Important Facts About Your Dispenser
iJi:: D o not ::1(1(1 i ce ti'om trm:s or bags to
the storage
bin. It may not crush
or
dispense
well.
iJi:: Avoid ove_tilling glass with ice and use ()I
narrow glasses. Backed-up
ice can jam tile
chute or catlse tile door in tile chute
to
ti'eeze shut. If ice is blocking
the chute,
poke it through
with a wooden
spoon.
iJi:: B everages
and fi)ods should
not be
quick-chilled
in the ice storage
bin.
Cans, bottles
or fi)od packages
in tile
storage
bin may cause tile icemaker
or auger to jam.

the glass, put the glass close to, but not
touching,
the dispenser
opening.

ice may be dispensed
even
though
you selected
CUBED ICE.This
