Wash them in hot, s0opg Water and rinse

on the range while theg are wet: When
replacingthe grates,be suretheg are

Donot operate a bumerfor an extended
period of time without cookware on the grate.

cookwareto absorb the heat.
To get rid of burned-on food, place the grates
in a covered container.Add 1/4 cup ammonia
and let them soak several hoursor overnight.
Wash,rinsewell and drg.
Althoughtheg are durable,the grates
will gradualtg losetheir shine, regardless
of the best care gou can givethem. This
is due _otheir continual exposure to high
temperatures.Youwill notice this sooner
with lighter color grates.
NOTE:Do not clean the grates in a
self-cleaningoven.
