NECESSARY
Air
adjustment

the
bottom
burner
regulates
the
flow
of air to the
flames.
Loosen

The shutter
_Or the bottom
(oxen)
burner
is near the
back wall behind
the warming
drawer.

To adjust
the
flow
of air
to the
burner,
loosen
the
Phillips
head
screw
and rotate
the
shutter
toward
open
or closed
position
as needed.
To determine
if the bottom
burner
flames
are bm'ning
properly;
remove
the oven
bottom.
Flames
should
have
al)l)roximately
1" blue
cones
and,
if range
is SUl)plied
with natural
gas, should
burn
with no yellow tipping.
(With most
I.P gas, small yellow tips at the elm of outer
cones
are imrmal.)
Flalnes
should
not lilt off burner
ports.
If lilting
is observed,
gradually
reduce
air shutter
oi)ening
until flalnes
are stabilized.
To remove
the oven
bottom:
A. ]_elnove
the
two
screws
securing
the
bake
element
to the
back
of the
oven
and
remove
the
element.
B. Remove
the
screws
holding
down
rear
of the
oven
bottom.

at finger
slots
on
each
side.

[] LEVELING THE RANGE
A. Install
the oxen
shelxes
in the oxen
aim position
the
range
where
it will be installed.

fin" levelness
by placing
a spirit
level or a cup,
partially
flled
with water, on one of the oven shelves.
If using a spirit
level, take two readings--with
the
level placed
diagonally
first in one
direction
and
then
the other.

leveling
legs can be ac!justed

Use an open-end

wrench

is lexel, slide
the range
awa} from
the
wall so that the Anti-Tip
dexice
can be installed.
