How to Set the Oven for Broiling

meat
or fish
on a broiler
grid

pan.

suggested
shelf
positions
in the
Broiling Guido.

The oxen door must be closed during
broiling

Touch
the BROIL HI/LO pad once fi)r
HI Broil.
[]
To change
to LO Broil, touch the BROIL
HI/LO pad again,
Touch
the START pad.
Broil Preheat- _ter
touching
START,
the display will show preheat
for
approximately
10 minutes,
The gas
bake element
will cycle on dtwing
preheat.
Place vom" food in the oven
after the preheat
cycle has completed.

is finished,
touch
the
CLEAR/OFF pad.
Serve the food immediately,
and leave the
pan outside
the oven to cool dtwing the
meal for easiest cleaning.
Use LO Broil to cook toods such as poultry
or thick cuts of meat thoroughly
without
ove>browning
them.
The
size,
weight,
thickness,
starting
temperatm'e
and
your
preference
of
aloneness
will affect
broiling
dines.
This
