Programming Information
During the boot sequence, the BIOS ROM reads the parameters stored in the NVRAM
(non-volatile RAM) by the Setup utility. Additionally, software programs may access
the configuration memory and certain I/O ports to read the status of the security
features.
Status Read Of Security Features
The CMOS configuration byte at location 13h contains the status of the security
features as shown below:
