Customizing Your Mouse
1. From the Windows desktop,
click the Start button.
2. Point to Settings and then
click Control Panel. The
Control Panel window is
displayed.
3. Double-click the Mouse
icon. The Mouse Properties
window is displayed.
4. Select the tabs and settings
you prefer. The settings are
listed in the following table:
Setting
Quick Setup
Resets the mouse properties to the factory defaults.
Pointers
Changes the appearance of the pointer.
Buttons
Changes the button and the wheel functions. Click the
Options button to change the mouse button assignment
options. For more information, click Help.
Motion
Sets the cursor speed and acceleration. Also enables Smart
Moves and creates a pointer trail.
Orientation
Changes the angle of the mouse movement.
Devices
Adds another pointing device.
