Sharing folders can be very
useful if you have a large
amount of data that you
want to share with someone
else. Remember, however,
that anyone with whom you
share files can add, delete,
and modify information.

Creating a Shared Folder

1. Double-click the My Computer
2. Double-click C: (or the letter that corresponds to your hard
drive).
3. On the menu bar, click File, point to New, and then click
Folder. A New Folder is displayed in the window.
4. Type a name that indicates the folder is shared, such as
Shared Files.
5. Move the files you wish to share into this folder.
