    ð When switching on the video recorder for the first time, a language selection menu comes up. Should it not appear, press key MENU (15). 4 With key C C (13) or B B (11) select the language you prefer to display the menus in on the screen.

    • When playing a tape causes problems (scrambled pictures or black and white), you'll have to force the play mode by selecting one of the available options (PAL, SECAM, MESECAM). • If you wish to record a tape in a particular colour standard, choose one of the options displayed (PAL, SECAM, MESECAM).
