Usingthe oven.
Toavoid possible bums, place the shelves in the desired posifion before you turn the oven on.
The oven has 7 shelf positions.
Before you begin...
T]_e shelves have stop-lo(ks, so that \dlen
placed corx_ctl_ on tim shelf supports
(A
through G), tile?' will stop before coming
con/pletely out, and will not tilt.
When placing and lemoGng cook\_are,
pull the shelf out to tile bump on the shelf
support.
To remove a sheff, pull it to_md you, tilt file
ti'ont end up and pull it out.
Toreplace,
place the end of the shelf
(stop-locks) *m tile support, tilt up the front
and push the shelf ill.
CAUTION: When
you are u sing the she/f in
the lowestposition(A),youwill needto usecaution
whenpulling theshelfout. Werecommend t hatyou
pull theshelfout severalinches andthen,usingtwo
pot holders, p ull the shelfoutby holdingthesidesof it.
Theshelfis low andyoucouldbe burned if youplace
yourhandin themiddleof the shelfandpull all the
wayout.Be.verycareful n ot to burnyourhandon the
door whenusingthe shelfin the/owestpesition (A).

How to Set the Oven for Baking or Roasting

Touch tile BAKE pad.

Touch tile + or- pads until tile
desired temperature
is displa}ed.

Touch the START/ON pad.
The o_.en will start automatically. Tile (fispla}
will sho_ "PrU%hile preheating.
When the
oven reaches the selected mmperatme,
the
oven control will beep several times and the
(fispla} will sho_ tile oven telt/per,Jture.
Tochange the oventemperature d uringBAKE cycle,
touchtheBAKEpadandthenthe + or- padstoget
thenew temperature.

Check food for doneness at minimum

Preheating and Pan Placement
Preheat tile oven if tile recipe calls tor it.
Preheating
is necessary tbr good results when
baking cakes, cookies, pastr} and breads.
The Display will show "PrE" whilepreheating. W hen
theovenreaches theselected temperature, theoven
control w ill beepandthedisplaywill showtheoven
temperature.
Baking resuhs will be better if baking palls are
centered ill tile o_en as much as possible. If
baking with more than one pan, place tile
pans so each has at least 1 to 1½" of air space
around it./1 baking Ibm" cake 1wers at the
same time, place mo layers on rack B and t\m
lavep, on rack D. Stagger pans on tile rack so
one is not directly above the other
Cut slits in flTefoil just like flTegrid.
Aluminum Foil
Nevercoverthe ovenbottorgwithaluminum foil

foil to lille tile broiler
pan and broiler grid. Howe_er. ?_m must
mold tile foil tigh@ to tile grid and cut slits ill
itjust like the grid.

Ne_er entirely cover a shelf wiflt ahuninm-rl
tbil. This will disturb the heat circulaOon and
lesult in poor baking.
