6. Release the camera module cable and the display panel cable from the retention clip (3) that is built
into the computer.
7. Remove the six Phillips M2.5 × 4.2 screws (1) that secure the display assembly to the computer.
8. Swing the top edge of the display assembly (2) away from the computer as far as it will open.
9. Remove the display assembly (3) from the computer.
10. To remove the display panel assembly and access the display assembly internal components:
a. Insert a plastic, non-conductive tool, such as a case utility tool (1), into the upper left and right
corners of the display panel assembly and slightly separate the display panel assembly from
the display back cover.
b. Firmly grasp the pull-to-release tape (2) located in the upper corners of the display panel
assembly with a pair of tweezers.
