Before removing the fan, follow these steps:

Remove the fan:
1. Remove the shield material (1) that covers the fan.
2. Disconnect the fan cable (2) from the system board.
3. Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 3.2 screws (3) that secure the fan to the computer.
4. Remove the the fan (4).
To replace the fan, reverse the removal procedures.

Display assembly
