The verification operations of the CO
operations must be carried out with the casing open and removing the voltage from the appliance.
The calibrations described below must be carried out in the correct sequence and more precisely, first the calibration of the CO
O
at maximum output and then the calibration of the CO

- PX42 Gas Valve
Calibration of the CO
at maximum output
2
Enter the chimney sweep mode without withdrawing DHW and set the output to maximum (99%).
To have an exact value of CO
the CO
value is that specified in the table (Ref. Par. 4.2), otherwise adjust the screw (Part. 12, Fig. 40) (gas flow rate regulator).
2
To increase the CO
value, turn the adjustment screw (Part. 12, Fig. 40) clockwise and vice-versa to decrease it.
2
At every adjustment variation on the screw (Part. 12, Fig. 40), it is necessary to wait for the boiler to stabilise itself at the value set (about 30
sec.).
Calibration of the CO
at minimum output
2
After setting the CO
to maximum power while keeping the chimney sweep function active and without drawing domestic water, set the
2
output to minimum (0%).
To have an exact value of CO
the CO
value is that specified in the table (Ref. Parag. 4.2), otherwise adjust the screw (Part. 3, Fig. 40) (Off-Set regulator) after removing
2
the cover cap.
To increase the CO
value, turn the adjustment screw (Part. 3, Fig. 40) clockwise and vice-versa to decrease it.

Calibration of the CO
at maximum output
2
Enter the chimney sweep mode without withdrawing DHW and set the output to maximum (99%).
To have an exact value of CO
the CO
value is that specified in the table (Ref. Par. 4.2), otherwise adjust the screw (Part. 12, Fig. 41) (gas flow rate regulator).
2
To increase the CO
value, turn the adjustment screw (Part. 12, Fig. ) anticlockwise and vice-versa to decrease it.
2
At every adjustment of the adjustment screw (Det. 12, Fig. 41), it is necessary to wait for the boiler to stabilise itself at the value set (about 30
sec.).
Calibration of the CO2 at minimum output
After setting the CO
to maximum power while keeping the chimney sweep function active and without drawing domestic water, set the
2
output to minimum (0%).
To have an exact value of CO
the CO
value is as specified in the table (Ref. Par. 4.2), otherwise adjust the screw (Part. 3, Fig. 41) (Off-Set controller) after removing the
2
cover cap.
To increase the CO
value, turn the adjustment screw (Part. 3, Fig. 41) clockwise and vice-versa to decrease it.
2
In the case where the calibration refers to O2 the adjustment logic is reversed from the above for CO2.

3.10 CHECKS FOLLOWING CONVERSION TO ANOTHER TYPE OF GAS

After making sure that conversion was carried out with a nozzle of suitable diameter for the type of gas used and the settings are made at
the correct pressure, check that the burner flame is not too high or low and is stable (does not detach from burner).
Maintenance operations must be carried out by an authorised company (e.g. Authorised After-Sales Technical Assistance Cen-
tre).
