2.7
APPLIANCE SWITCH-OFF
Switch the appliance off by putting it in "off" mode, disconnect the main switch outside of the appliance and close the gas cock upstream
of the appliance.
Do not leave the device switched on unnecessarily when it is not in use for long periods.
2.8 RESTORE CENTRAL HEATING SYSTEM PRESSURE
1. Periodically check the system water pressure (the appliance's pressure gauge hand must indicate a value between 1 and 1.2 bar).
2. If the pressure falls below 1 bar (with the system cold) restore normal pressure via the valve located at the bottom of the appliance (Par.
1, Fig. 7).
3. Close the cock after the operation.
4. If the pressure reaches values around 3 bar, there is a risk of tripping the safety valve (in this case, remove water from a radiator air vent
valve until a pressure of 1 bar is achieved, or ask for assistance from professionally qualified personnel).
5. In the event of frequent pressure drops, contact qualified staff for assistance to eliminate the possible system leakage.
2.9
DRAINING THE SYSTEM
To drain the boiler, use the special draining valve (Part. 2, Fig. 7).
Before draining, ensure that the filling cock is closed.
If fluid containing glycol was added to the system circuit, make sure it is recovered and disposed of in accordance with standard
EN 1717.
