Connecting PV Strings

To minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI), make sure to

minimize the distance between the positive and negative DC cables

Max distance between a combiner

box and any string: 150m / 492ft

Combiner Box

Turn off switches and check

string polarity. Verify 1±0.1V

per optimizer.

Example: 20 optimizers = ~20V

Max distance between inverter

and combiner box: 700m / 2297ft

When connecting three or

more H1300 strings to a

combiner box, it is

recommended to use a 30A

fuse for each individual

string. However, be sure to

check local electrical codes

and regulations to

determine the proper fuse

sizing for your specific

installation.
