4 Upholstery:
- Visual inspection for tears and fraying.
5 Seat Belts, Inertia Reel, and Harnesses:
- Visual inspection.
6 Seats:
- Pilot (Front): Visual inspection and verify
T- Handle security.
- Passenger (Rear): Verify top strap routing
and security. Verify Seat Crossbar security.
7 ELT (if applicable):
- Installation, and condition of battery &
antenna.
- Reference manufacturer's manual for
replacement intervals.
8 Battery and Cables:
- Visual inspection.
9 Control Bushings, Cables, and Pulleys (including
control stick and torque tube):
- Visual inspection and lubricate bearing
surfaces only.
- Check for loose rivets, slop in control sticks,
etc.
10 Elevator Trim:
- Visual inspection of complete System
- Operational check.
11 Fuel Lines and Gauges:
- Visual inspection for leaks, chaffing,
obstruction, security, general condition.
12 Flap Lever:
- Operational Check
- Visual inspection of ratchet and latch through
the range of operation
- Lubricate Shaft.
13 Rudder Pedals:
- Operational Check and lubricate.
- Ensure that the forward edges of the interior
panels are outboard of the forward vertical
structural tubes by the rudder pedals.
14 Throttle:
- Verify freedom of movement and ensure it
contacts engine stops.
15 Mixture:
- Verify freedom of movement and ensure it
contacts engine stops.
