17 Induction Air Filter:
- Remove, inspect, and clean.
- Replace at 500 hours, or when filter is more
than 50% covered by foreign material.
18 Carburetor:
- Drain and clean inlet line fuel strainer.
19 Induction Air Box:
- Visual inspection condition.
20 Intake Seals:
- Visual inspection for leaks and clamps for
tightness.
21 Flexible Fuel and Primer Lines:
- Visual inspection condition.
22 Throttle, Mixture Controls:
- Visual inspection for proper travel and
operating condition.
23 Exhaust Stacks, Connections, Gaskets, and
Braces:
- Visual inspection
- Replace exhaust gaskets, as required.
24 Performance Exhaust Bolts (AN3-35A)
- Replace at 100 Hours or Condition
Inspection, whichever comes first.
25 Muffler, Heat Exchanger, and Hoses:
- Remove shroud
- Visual inspection.
26 Oil Breather Tube:
- Visual inspection for obstructions and security.
27 Crankcase:
- Visual inspection for cracks, leaks, and
security of case bolts.
28 Engine Mounts:
- Visual inspection for cracks and distortion and
security.
27 Engine Baffles:
- Visual inspection for damage and security.
30 Rubber Engine Mount Bushings:
- Visual inspection for deterioration.
31 Firewall and Seals:
- Visual inspection
32 Cabin Heater Control:
- Visual inspection.
33 Alternator:
- Visual inspection for condition, and security
