A – Cotter Pin
D – Flap Hinge
G – Washer
Refer to Figures 6.3.6.3 and 6.3.6.4
(a) Remove the cotter pin (3) and nut (4) holding the bolt (6) on the flap cone (2) and
flap hinge (1); keep the bolt (6) in place temporarily (see Figure 6.3.6.3).
(b) Remove the cotter pin (A) and nut (B) holding the bolt (H) on the flap hinge (D)
and aileron hinge (F) (see Figure 6.3.6.4).
(c) Remove the outboard bolts first and carefully remove the flap by sliding it
outboard.
