SPECIFICATIONS
GENERAL
The Health o meter® Professional ProPlus® Portable, Adjustable Wheelchair Scale, Model 4024, uses
highly sophisticated microprocessor technology. This precision instrument is designed to provide
accurate, reliable and repeatable weight measurements that make the weighing process simple, fast
and convenient.
The scale is set up to use motion-sensing weighing technology, to determine the actual weight of a
moving patient. The scale may be changed to measure live weight (please refer to the ProPlus®
Display Module User Manual for instructions on changing the scale setting).
The weight can be displayed in kilograms or in pounds (decimals, fractions of a pound, or lb/oz). It
features an adjustable width mechanism that allows the user to fit various wheelchair widths onto the
scale. It also folds up for easy portability or storage when it is not in use.
The scale features a remote display which may be held by the operator or placed on a table, desk, wall
or other flat surface for privacy and convenience in use. The scale can be operated using a power
adapter (included) or by 6-D cell batteries (not included), depending on use.
