SELECTION OF A COLD WEATHER LOCATION.
See Chap. "Handling" in section "4 Prior to installation".
NOTE
o avoid exposure to wind, install the unit with the intake side facing the wall.
• Never install the unit in a place where the intake side can be directly exposed to the wind.
• To avoid exposure to the wind, install a de ector on the air exhaust side of the unit.
• In areas with abundant snowfalls, it is very important to choose an installation site where the snow does not a ect the
appliance. If a side blowing snowfall can occur, make sure that the coil of the heat exchanger is not a ected by the snow
(build a roof when necessary).
1) Build a large roof.
2) Build a pedestal.
Install the unit high enough so that it cannot be buried in the snow.
6.2 SELECTION OF A HOT WEATHER LOCATION.
Since the outside temperature is measured by the air thermistor of the heat pump, make sure to install the unit in the shade
or to build a roof so that it is not exposed to direct sunlight and is not a ected by the heat of the sun. Otherwise the unit
