8.1.5 Audax configuration
This heat pump family includes the following models:
- Audax 6
- Audax 8
- Audax 12
- Audax 16
- Audax 16 Mono
- Audax Top 18 ErP
- Audax Top 21 ErP
With these machines, the circulation pumps operation
logic can be configured.
The parameters are:
- Mode (P33). Enable the pump operation with speed set
"Max.speeed" or the modulating mode with tracking
of the "Modulating" temperature differential.
- Minimum Speed (P33). Value of minimum speed used
in modulating operation.
- Maximum Speed (P33). Value of maximum speed
used in modulating operation.
- Delta T (P33). Temperature delta to be maintained
with modulating operation.
A machine power reduction can be set.
The parameters are:
- Anti-lock circ. (P34) Enable HP anti-lock circulator.
- Flow switch (P34):
- 0= flow switch function Type 0;
- 1= flow switch function Type 1
- Enabling reduction (P34). Enables a reduction in the
operating frequency of the HP, which is controlled by
defining the reduced operating schedule from the user
menu.
- Power in reduced (P34). Power percentage in reduc-
tion mode.
N.B.: reduction mode must also be enabled via the
terminal block.
If main machine board is replaced, performing the
parameterisation operation is required.
The parameters are:
- Model (P41). Select the Heat pump model to para-
metrise.
- Configure (P41). Select "Yes" to start parameterisation.
- Orientation. In presence of several heat pumps com-
municating with each other, setting the machines with
different addresses is required.

Turn off all machines on the same communication bus
except the one to be configured.
You must set the addresses as follows:
- Type (P45): select the heat pump type.
- Audax
- New address to be assigned (P45). Set the current
address of the machine (value between 12 and 14 based
on heat pump no.).
- Configure (P45). Select YES to start address configu-
ration process.
In case of configuration problems, the initial address of
a machine can be restored (address 11).
- Type (P46): select the heat pump type.
- Audax
- Current address (P46). Set the current address of the
machine (value between 12 and 14 based on heat pump
no.).
- Configure (P46). Select YES to start address configu-
ration process.
Certain manual functions of the machine can be enabled.
The parameters are:
- Circ.pump.override (A21). Enables the circulation
pump to be manually overridden at the set speed.
- Flow switch (A21). Displays flow switch status.
- Mode (A22). Heat pump operation override (all con-
trols on the flow and return sensors are disabled with
these modes).
