TROUBLESHOOTING

If you experience a problem with your appliance or are concerned that the appliance is not functioning
correctly, you can carry out some easy checks according to below table before calling for service.

Do not try to repair the appliance yourself. If the problem persists after you have made the checks
mentioned below, contact a qualified electrician, authorized service engineer or the store where you
purchased the product.
Problem
Appliance does not
operate.
Freezer is noisy.
Temperature inside
the freezer is too
high.
Temperature inside
the freezer is too
low.
The door will not
close properly.
Temporary difficulty
in opening the door
Solution
Check that the freezer is plugged into the mains socket properly and
that the outlet is switched on.
Check the fuse is not blown.
Check the circuit breaker is not tripped.
Check that the freezer is placed on a level surface.
Check the contents for loose items that may be vibrating against the
interior walls.
Set the temperature control to a lower temperature and allow several
hours for the temperature to stabilize.
Door is kept open too long or is opened too frequently. Warm air
enters the freezer every time the door is opened. Open the door less
often.
Check that the door is closed completely.
Ensure that the door gasket does not seal properly.
A large amount of warm or hot food might have been stored recently.
Wait until the freezer has reached its set temperature.
Check the fast freezing function is not activated.
Set the temperature control to a higher temperature and allow several
hours for the temperature to stabilize.
Check that the freezer is on a level surface.
Check that the gasket is not dirty.
Check that the storage basket is in position.
After opening the door there will be a difference in internal pressure which
may result in temporary difficulty in opening the unit. This is normal.
