TROUBLESHOOTING

If you experience a problem with your appliance or are concerned that the appliance is not functioning
correctly, you can carry out some easy checks according to below table before calling for service.
Warning !
Do not try to repair the appliance yourself. If the problem persists after you have made the checks
mentioned below, contact a qualified electrician, authorized service engineer or the store where you
purchased the product.
Problem
Appliance does not
operate.
Freezer is noisy.
Temperature inside
the freezer is too
high.
Door seal fails to be
tight.
Solution
7 Check that the freezer is plugged into the mains socket properly and
that the outlet is switched on.
7 Check the fuse is not blown.
7 Check the circuit breaker is not tripped.
7 Check that the freezer is placed on a level surface.
7 Check that the appliance is not touching the wall or other objects.
Move the appliance slightly.
7 Check that a component, e.g. a pipe, on the rear of the appliance is not
touching another part of the appliance or the wall. If necessary,
carefully bend the component out of the way.

Set the temperature control to a lower temperature and allow several
hours for the temperature to stabilize.

Door is kept open too long or is opened too frequently. Warm air
enters the freezer every time the door is opened. Open the door less
often.

Check that the door is closed completely.

Ensure that the door gasket does not seal properly.

A large amount of warm or hot food might have been stored recently.
Wait until the freezer has reached its set temperature.
Remove foreign matters on the door seal.
Heat the door seal and then cool it for restoration.
(or blow it with an electrical drier or use a hot towel for heating)
