SYMPTOM:
If not following each step in the attached update of the service manual page
BF3-6 to BF3-7 when tilting the BF5010 there is a risk of personal injury.
CAUSE:
The Service Manual lacks warnings and procedure is not fully up to date
regarding BF5010 in relation to BF90.
SOLUTION: Warning
Before tilting the BF5010 make sure pivot screws [E] are NOT tightened.
They should be loosened about ½ turn.
When tilting the BF5010, make sure to fasten and tighten BOTH screws
[G], one on each side.
Next Service Manual update will include the updated instruction
attached.

  • Page 2 Infeed view WARNING Book Folder may Tip. Install Service bracket before separating the Book Folder from the Trimmer. Removal 1. Remove Belt stacker ( Service manual BK5010 3.8.1). 2. Remove the Trim bin. 3. Remove the Service bracket [A] by removing two nuts ( x 2 ). 4. Remove the foot screw [C] and mount it in the oposite hole up-side-down.
