Keep the carton, including the original packing materials, in case you need to return the product for repair. To prepare your extender for installation: Carefully peel off the protective film covering the sides of your extender.

    Installing Your WiFi Range Extender Before manually installing and connecting your WiFi range extender, make sure that you have an Internet service connection through a gateway/router that is capable of providing a DHCP IP address (for more information, see correct: ” on page 26).

    Updating Your Firmware NETGEAR is always improving the operability and features included with your extender. To make it easy for you to receive the best, most up-to-date features of your extender, NETGEAR provides a variety of methods for updating your product.

    Check that you are using the power adapter supplied by NETGEAR for this product. If the Power light does not turn solid green within 2 minutes after you turn the extender on, reset the extender according to the instructions in Password and Configuration Settings”...
