5.4 TROUBLESHOOTING SUPPORT.
Fan coil problems and their causes.
Note: if one of the following malfunctions occurs, stop the
device, unplug it and contact the service centre.
• The operation LED flashes quickly (twice per second).
• The LED continues flashing quickly after the power has
been switched off and back on.
• The remote control receives a malfunction signal or the
key does not work properly.
• Frequent activation of a safety device (fuse, switch).
• Water leaking from the indoor unit.
• Strange objects or substances inside the unit.
• Other malfunctions.
Symptoms
The unit does not start.
Air flow normal but it does
not completely cool.
Low cooling.
Low heating.
Water leaks from the unit
Causes
Supply voltage problem. The main switch is off.
The main switch fuse could be blown.
Flat batteries or other problems with the remote
control.
The temperature is not set correctly.
The indoor unit's heat exchanger is dirty.
The air filter is dirty.
The indoor unit's inlet is blocked.
Doors and windows are open.
Direct sunlight.
Excessive heating.
Outside temperature too high.
Doors and windows are not fully closed.
The condensate water in the drain pipe is too cold
and freezing.
The drain pipe is clogged and broken.
Properly connect the connecting pipe's inlet/outlet. Connect the piping properly.
The drain pipe outlet is higher and so causes water
to leak from the condensate collection tank.
The unit is too inclined.
The unit works in high speed.
Wait for the supply voltage to be restored. Connect
the supply voltage.
Replace the fuse.
Replace t insufficiente
he batteries or check the remote control.
Set the temperature correctly.
Clean the heat exchanger.
Clean the air filter.
Remove the dirt and make the air even.
Close doors and windows.
Hang curtains to protect from direct sunlight.
Limit the source of heat.
Reduce the CA cooling capacity (normal).
Close doors and windows.
Cover the drain pipe with insulation cotton.
Repair or replace the drain pipe.
Position the condensate drain pipe lower than the
bottom of the unit.
Position the unit horizontally.
Adjust the fan to medium or low speed.
