Remove the system board:
1.
Release the adhesive support tape that secures the display panel cable (1) to the system board.
2.
Disconnect the display panel cable (2) from the system board.
3.
Remove the WLAN module shield (3) from the integrated WLAN module.
4.
Carefully disconnect the two wireless antenna cables (4) from the integrated WLAN module.
NOTE:
Models have either one or two WLAN antennas. On models with two antennas, the #1 white WLAN
antenna cable connects to the WLAN module #1 Main terminal. The #2 black WLAN antenna cable connects
to the WLAN module #1 Aux terminal.
5.
Disconnect the webcam/microphone module cable (5) from the system board.
6.
Disconnect the speaker cable (6) from the system board.
7.
Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector (7) to which the touchpad cable is connected, and then
disconnect the touchpad cable from the system board.
8.
Release the ZIF connector (8) to which the keyboard cable is connected, and then disconnect the keyboard
cable from the system board.
9.
Release the ZIF connector (9) to which the connector board cable is connected, and then disconnect the
connector board cable from the system board.
10.
Remove the six Phillips M2.0 × 2.7 screws (1) that secure the system board to the computer.
11.
Remove the system board I/O bracket (2).
The system board I/O bracket is not available as a spare part component.
