Before removing the system fan, follow these steps:

Prepare the computer for disassembly (see

Disconnect the system fan cable (1) from the system board.
2.
Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 4.1 screws (2) that secure the system fan to the computer.
3.
Remove the system fan (3) from the computer.
Reverse this procedure to install the system fan.
