Before removing the infrared cable, follow these steps:

Remove the infrared cable:
1. Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector (1) to which the infrared cable is connected, and then
disconnect the cable from the system board.
2. Release the ZIF connector (2) to which the infrared cable is connected, and then disconnect the cable from
the system board.
3. Remove the infrared cable from the computer (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the infrared cable.
