Symptom
Poor print quality.
Problems
Drivers are improperly
installed.
Solutions
Uninstall and reinstall the printer drivers:
1. From the Windows taskbar, click the Start
button, click Programs, point to your printer
model, and then click Uninstall Drivers.
2. Follow the instructions on the screen. The
program will uninstall your printer drivers.
3. To reinstall the printer drivers, insert the
Printer Driver CD that came with your printer
into the CD-ROM drive. On some systems the
installation program automatically runs so
that you can follow the instructions on the
screen. To run the setup program manually,
complete the following steps:
4. From the Windows taskbar, click the Start
button, point to Programs, and then click
Windows Explorer.
5. Select the CD-ROM drive that contains the
printer driver CD.
6. Double-click the file Setup.exe to run the
setup program.
7. Follow the instructions on the screen.
