Remove the following:

(1) Two rubber screw covers. The rubber screw covers are included in the Plastics Kit, spare part
number 454010-001.
(2) Seven Phillips PM2.5×7.0 screws.
(3) Three Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screws.
Turn the computer right-side up, with the front toward you.

Disconnect the fingerprint reader board cable (1) from the system board.

Disconnect the TouchPad cable (2) from the system board.

Remove the two Phillips PM2.5×7.0 screws (3) and the two Phillips PM2.5×4.0 screws (4) that

secure the top cover to the computer.
