Removing a PC Card
When the Computer Is Off
In Windows NT, you must shut down the computer to
NOTE:
remove some cards, for example, LAN and SCSI. Refer to the
online Help in CardWare and to the documentation included with
the card to learn whether you must shut down the computer before
removing the card.
1. Push the eject button that corresponds to the slot. The eject
button pops out slightly.
2. Push the eject button a second time
3. Pull the PC Card out of the slot
In Windows 95, When the Computer Is On
In Windows 95, when the computer is on, stop and then remove
the PC Card:
1. Click the PC Card icon in the notification area on the taskbar.
A list of PC Cards in the system appears.
2. Click the PC Card that you want to stop.
IMPORTANT:

3. When the message appears that it is safe to remove the card,
push the eject button that corresponds to the slot. The eject
button pops out slightly.
4. Push the eject button a second time
