Description
Top cover for use only in model 2133
Top cover for use only in model 2140
Before removing the top cover, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and
then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Remove the top cover:
1.
Turn the computer upside down, with the front toward you.
2.
Use a thin, flat tool to release the four rubber feet (1).
CAUTION:
Exercise caution when releasing the rubber feet to prevent damaging the feet.
3.
On model 2133, remove the three Torx8 T8M2.5×10.0 screws (2) and the Torx8 T8M2.0×4.0
screw (3) that secure the top cover to the base enclosure.
On model 2140, remove the three Phillips PM2.0×7.0 screws (2) and the Phillips PM3.0×3.0
screw (3) that secure the top cover to the base enclosure.
