    Insert the Chuck Key (3) into the Chuck (2) and turn counterclockwise to open the mouth of the Chuck. Insert the hammer bit or the drill bit (not supplied) all the way into the Chuck. Turn the Chuck Key clockwise to tighten the Chuck on the bit.
