(1) REMOVAL

(a) Drain the oil.
(b) Place a rag below the screen to catch the oil.
(c) Remove the bolts (7) that secure the oil pressure screen housing.
(d) Drain the oil from the housing and remove the screen (2).

(2) INSPECTION

(a) Inspect the screen (2) and inside the housing (3) for foreign particles.
If examination of the screen indicates abnormal metal content, additional service may
be required to determine the source and possible need for corrective maintenance
