    Terminology This section explains the terms used in this manual. Captured page A page captured to the machine. Interactive Pen An electronic pen that requires a battery to operate, and is used to draw strokes on the whiteboard and operate the machine. All features of the whiteboard can be used when interactive pen is used. You cannot enter strokes with multiple interactive pens simultaneously.

To select an icon or button, touch the item you want to use with the pen nib or your finger. To execute the function of an icon on the desktop, touch the same spot twice quickly with the pen nib or your finger.

Using a Whiteboard • When using the machine without the interactive pen, use the touch pen or your fingers to operate the marker, select the menu, manage dialog boxes, and operate the applications on the desktop. • Depending on the machine model you are using, you may be able to use the touch pen instead of the interactive pen if the electronic pen is lost or its battery runs out.
